RAINING ON CAPE ANN

NAVAL SHIP IN HARBOR

It has been raining for 3 days on Cape Ann so not many photos. The big excitement is Saint Peter's Fiesta to celebrate the Patron Saint of Fisherman. Historically, Cape Ann was a major fishing port for many years. The Italians still celebrate Saint Peter and still do some fishing.

The Naval Ship is sitting in port and the town is making sure its crew is well fed at the local veterans organizations and am sure they will participate to some degree in the Fiesta and Sunday is the traditional Blessing of the Fleet. In the meantime, I am feeling well protected with the Navy right outside of my door almost.
