SOUL COLLAGE CARD SUNDAY

'I AM THE WHO HAS BEEN HIDING'

A CREATIVE HARBOR

SOUL COLLAGE CARD SUNDAY

The above Soul Collage Card is part of the 'Committee Suit' and is about my 'inner creative child' who always wanted to create and has been hiding herself from the world. Now, you can see by the card how happy 'my inner child' is when she is painting.

Historically, I always 'put aside' that dream to create by being a visual artist. I did manage to be creative throughout my life in other ways, whether it was in my job as psychotherapist and college professor, being a wife and mother, decorating my homes or choosing my style of clothes and living the other roles of life. When the time came that I could resign from my 'professional career' I then began to explore various mediums. Collage has always helped me to sort through and put the 'life pieces' together. So I am now continuing, along with my painting in oil pastels, illustrating 'cartoons', sketching, photography and writing my blogs, to do Soul Collage cards which provide an avenue to just 'let go and be' and play and create!

Hugs and namaste,

  Carol and

  2. I love this card, Carol. The little girl does look so happy painting. As a child I loved to read and write stories both of which I spend a lot of time doing.
I loved the way you reminded us of all the ways we are creative each and everyday. So often we forget that.
