52 Photos, Haiku Sensational and Wordless Wednesday

Spring Time Sun Rise ~ A Favorite Photo

Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and explore how creativity can enhance the inner spirit.

Note: Blog hop ~ Magical Monday Meme here every Monday until Tuesday at 4pm.

What aspects of creativity are enhancing my inner spirit today?
It is a post for Wednesday which means 52 Photos Project, Haiku Sensational, Favorite Photos, and Aquariann's Wordless Wednesday and Dave's Wordless Wednesday and Nature Footstep. By viewing and sharing these various blogs, my eyes see a variety of styles and modes of creative expression.

With 52 Photos Project, each week a different theme is represented in the photos. Today the topic is 'Let the Sun Shine In.' With much needed rain all day here on the New England coast, I am welcoming some glorious sunshine photos. I am drawn to the light. Haiku Sensational is adding to the visual pleasure with the prompt being Spring. In MA, Mother Nature has been 'dilly dallying' each day with what her Spring palette will be. She is taking her 'good old time'. Ever so slowly, she is beginning to 'strut her stuff.' Maybe by mid May we might have some Spring. Haiku follows below:

haiku

photo walks, spring time
buds struggling to burst, cold snap
season, nature slow.

light variations
palette of seasonal bloom
some day ever soon.

no spring in my step
impacted by spring rain drops
wait it will all change.

Hope you enjoy your tour of the selection of blog links. Wishing you a wonderful and magical week.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: ' Don't wait till you die to see this. Recognize that your imagination and your thinking and your sense-perception are reed canes that children cut and pretend are horses.' ( Rumi)

  1. Glad you stopped by, which lead me here. I am from New England too - MA. We are sharing the same miserable weather right now! Two weeks ago my boys were swimming at a state park! That tends to spoil a person, even though being from New England I should know better!

  6. I could really to your last haiku set. So many things can impede our steps to where we loose our spring. Yet, we have to keep trying or else, our spring will fade.

I liked your quote for the day as well. I am a firm believer in keeping the imagination live and well. :)
