Paint Party Friday and Haiku My Heart

'Tiger Lily'  (Asian Style Brush Painting)

Welcome to our blog where I view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and with my assistant, ArtMuse Dog explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit.

Today's post is for Friday and we are exploring artists and their creations. Also, we are exploring poets and their haiku.
The above painting is another of my Asian Style Paintings. It has been a rather busy, strange week weather wise. We are sharing with the following blogs: (click on the blog title to go there)

Paint Party Friday
Haiku My Heart

My haiku are below:

haiku

pain, hurt, let it go
wasted energy to fret
each moment precious.
-o-

soothing self mid point
place to live golden middle
no extreme points time.
-o-

roads winding far
travel light on your journey
day by day treasure.
-o-

Enjoy the beauty of these wonderful artists and poets.

Hugs and namaste,

  13. I love the economy of strokes in Asian-style painting. I've never tried it, seems kind of scary making so few strokes and no way to change the parts I don't like!

  32. These Haiku are full of wisdom. Perhaps dealing with perceived problem or episode in life. Just the writing eases then possibility of painful thoughts. The painting, as usual, is so simply beautiful. Did you paint there name in the upper left hand of the painting? That is a very nice touch. I haven't noticed this before. Very nice.

    Peace
