Paint Party Friday and Haiku My Heart

'Haiga'
(meaning a haiku with a picture or photo)

Welcome to my blog where I view life from the eyes of an artist soul and explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit.

I am still in my playing mode with my Asian brush paintings and exploring with brush, paints and adding a haiku to create a 'haiga.' The above photo is of one of my 'haiga' creations. Because I have an Artist Reception this Saturday evening, I have needed to 'let go ' and just play and not try and create anything too seriously. Thus, the end result of 'play' is my above creation and two haiku below for the two blogs that I thoroughly enjoy on Friday and they are:

Paint Party Friday

and

Haiku My Heart

There are lots of wonderful artists and poets at these sites. I have also written two more haiku as I tend to like to write three haiku.

haiku

 deep blue sea today
ocean sparkling after rain
sun brilliant rays.

 near sea delightful
soothing my inner spirit
 summer day playing.

Hope you enjoy all the wonderful artists and poets and their varied styles of expression.

Wishing you a happy and loving weekend.

Hugs and namaste,
