'Blessing Bowl' ~ Part of a Series

Welcome to Artists and Poets Friday.  The above photo is my most recent 'Blessing Bowl' creation done in my Asian style brush painting. The painting below is from one of three WIPs that I am still working on.

WIP ~ from Last Week ~ still in progess ~ being done in acrylics on artist's canvas

The photo below is another recent 'blessing bowl' done on mixed media paper in my Asian brush style. I think this is my favorite so far ~ yet have many more to go. I have made a commitment to myself to continue to create as many 'blessing bowls' as I can stand to do for this series. The ones on paper will go into my sketchbook that I am developing for the Sketchbook Project 2013. The canvas acrylics will either go to the Gallery or perhaps to Etsy or just stay in the infamous, 'Artist's Collection'. Hope you don't get bored.

My muse has been 'tap dancing on my head' ~ Yoga and labyrinth  walking seems to have opened up new energy. Wonderful and inspiring yet making me a little 'dizzy'. Grateful though.

Wishing you a delightful and loving weekend.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: 'I was convinced you can't go home again. Now I know better. Nothing is more untrue. I know you go back over and over again, seeking the self you left behind.'
