Inner Harbor of Cape Ann MA ~ USA

The photo above is our creative inner harbor where many of the fish processing plants are. As we move further into the twenty first century, there is less fishing and more promotion of tourism. It is a beautiful part of the world.

We are linked today to a photography blog and a haiku blog.

Tackle It Tuesday

The photo above and below are both of the inner Harbor of Cape Ann. My haiku is below for Tackle It Tuesday with a theme prompt of 'back to basics'.

haiku

step one starts journey
many paths in life each day
beginning with one.
-o-

too far down life path
back to basics, renew self
center, focus, simple.
-o-

keeping it simple
part of the basics to life
dance the two step rag.

  7. Hello Carol, this is a wonderful series of haiku on 'back to basic', it's a lovely read, but not entirely as the theme was meant, but I think that I wasn't clear enough in my blog-post for this week. I had hoped to see a classical haiku. Anyway these haiku are wonderful.

  8. Hi there - I like the row of floats along the edge of the boat.

My moth just sat there unmoving - it even let me go back to the car to get a macro lens!

  15. I firmly believe the sea beckons all in some magical way.
As a formally active scuba diver, my happy place is in the water.
I'm surprised you don't refer to your dog as Salty. lol kidding

I love photos with or in water. Warm feeling!
