DIVINE LIGHT TO ALL ^_^

DIVINE LIGHT SHINES FOR ALL  ^_^

Gradually getting back to posting my regular posts. Took a bit of time off for the Holidays and family time. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with loved ones.

The above photo is a reflection in a local bank on Cape Ann MA. It was very tastefully done and the weather cooperated until recently to take the holiday photos.

Reflections

This is another 'reflection' in Manchester MA which is considered part of Cape Ann ~ Local towns of Cape Ann are typically Gloucester, Rockport and Manchester. Magnolia is considered part of Gloucester.

Haiku for Haiku My Heart ~ haiga created using a sand photo from local beach.

Zoe and I typically walk daily in the park where there are two beaches. Today, though, we had to stay close to home as it was extremely windy and rainy.  Below is a watercolor sketch that I quickly did today to have something to post for Paint Party Friday. It is really not very good but with the holidays and all have not done much creating with the art.

Quick w/c sketch for Paint Party Friday ~ not very good ~ wanted to post something.

  7. The Christmas season is a great time for taking a break from our usual routines. It allows us to reflect on the meaning of the season (provided we're not TOO busy) and rejoice. I think your art is lovely, despite lack of time and focus. :)

  29. Hi Carol. Like Haiku's simplicity, watercolours too only need a few brushstrokes to say it all and your lovely painting certainly does this. Best wishes for 2013. Take care. xx
