Photograhers and Poets Tuesday

'After the Storm on Cape Ann MA'for Our World Tuesday

It was 'the best of time; it was the worst of times.' The snow came down and the wind was wild and wooly and the result: almost two feet of snow. Then the next morning the sun came out like nothing had ever happened. No raging wind, no blowing snow just the peaceful and serene scene of a 'new earth.'

I am practicing 'being in the now' ~ accepting that change is the one constant in life and now doing a New Moon Intention.

What are my intentions:

~ be grateful for what is
~ see beauty everywhere
~ practice my painting, photographing and writing haiku everyday
~ find the peace within and all around me each day

These are just a few of my 'New Moon' intentions ~ the rest I will put in my daily journal.  Wonder what your New Moon intentions might be?

Wishing you the best in each day.

Hugs and namaste,

and

We love to have you post your comments, thoughts or questions to delight us all in the day ~ especially, ArtMuse Dog ^_^

  28. You make the snow look so beautiful...remembering it through the eyes of a child because I always thought snow was for children....getting old....but we must find beauty in everything because we are only here for a short while....my new moon intentions....accept the things you cannot change.....have a great day!

  32. Okay, made it to your blog, finally :) Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely beautiful snow pics, but so much of it!! Interesting to read your moon intentions. Since retiring a year ago, i find I'm floating along wherever my fancy takes me. Put good food in my body, make sure to keep moving, stop to smell the roses, some art, some music, some nature, some human connection. Seems to work since I'm content and happy most of the time :)

  33. Love the photo of the snow - I must say I don't care for the snow because I feel so trapped inside. With my bad back, I have to be so careful not to fall!
