Watercolor Sketch in Progress

It's Sunday again. Can you believe how fast time flies! A blip!
The painting above is for Sunday Sketches and actually began as a 'warm up' with charcoals in art class. Then I just decided to 'play' with the watercolors at home and this is as far as I have gotten.

Today we are linking with a sketch blog, poetry blog and photography blogs. Here is the poetry:

  11. The charcoal and watercolor 'work in progress' is delightful - the pastel colors draw us in, and we almost can picture the missing faces. Art need not be stuffy! Grackles can be kinda obnoxious, but their iridescent black plumage si beautiful - and they do eat mosquitos, so I'll forget the attitude...cool low light lamp shadow!
