On our morning walk today these little flowers were popping out at us for I Heart Macro 2 link and  Little Things link.



A little better shot of our Cape Ann MA turtle crossing our street. It is a very quiet street and backs up to Ravenwoods (a protected area)

This little critter was crossing my street on Cape Ann MA as I headed out for dinner ~ needless to say I stopped. Neighbors were out on the street to protect her gratefully. Unfortunately, I only had my Iphone with me for Camera Critters link and Saturday Critters link.

Being healthier each day is giving me much bliss.
Having ArtMuse Dog keeping me company on the couch, helped bring joy despite not feeling well.
My great friends Chris and Dave made homemade chicken soup to help each day.
Glad to be out walking with my Yorkie again.
There is joy all around us ~ the sacred in the ordinary ~ what brings you joy today?

  2. Carol, sorry to hear that you were really under the weather. Nice to have cheerful friends and soup. 2014 has been a hard year (accident x2, recovery, death of a loved one) but I am grateful for a community of wonderful people who are always welcoming.

I had a Yorkie myself, unfortunately we had to end his life because of a not treatable heart-condition ... well he was 14 yrs ...

  59. Well for one, joy to be here, I missed you last week! I could spend all my time on just one of your photos or haiku... such a feast to start my day! I am finding joy in cleaning out the last remnants of the past 30 years and getting ready to move my studio... home. Some is sad, but such freedom and lightness in letting go I am in wonder at the feeling in my heart. Thank you Carol. Hope the beauty you see makes you stronger and stronger. Pat the pup for me!
