'Hugs are the universal medicine.'
~ author unknown

We are linked this week with these creative bloggers:

As you can see the snow is rather deep on Cape Ann ~ Even the backyard Fisherman's Statue is almost buried and can hardly be seen! More snow arriving today ~ Oh boy!
Anyone have a place in Georgia ~  maybe for next winter?

This tree on Cape Ann MA outside my window was filled with birds ~ What a treat!

Little birds ( for Alphabe L) resting in tree on Cape Ann MA in between snow storms.

She is enjoying her little 'toys' and 'Sun' which we saw one day and now it is Snowing again on Cape Ann MA and other New England areas. Enough already!

Haiku helping me to deal with the frustration of more Snow ! Fourteen inches supposedly to come on top of the twenty-two we already have on Cape Ann MA ~ What a winter! Did we move to the North Pole suddenly ~ and no one told us?

We are wishing you the best in each day. xox

Your posted comments add delight to our day. Thanks.

  3. Warm Hugs from England Carol, especially in the deep, deep snow.

  4. Amazing: you having so much snow, and we almost nothing. Snow disguises everything and changes the world into a peaceful one.
    Thanks for sharing.

  5. Since we also have small dogs, my hubby used to have to scoop out an area in the snow for them to potty....yellow snow.

  6. I'm thinking that Art Muse Dog is very smart to take a nap! :)

  7. Wow, you are really being dumped on with the snow.. Your poor doggie could get lost in all that snow.. I am glad she is inside warm and safe playing with her toys.. Have a happy week ahead..and hopefully a thaw!

  8. Great winter shots. I've been thinking about you with the storm because I know it hit Nantucket where my sister and brother in law live hard and I figured it zapped you too.

  9. Seeing that little one napping in the sunshine made me feel warm, Carol! Thanks...blustery, snowy and cold here...still...:)JP

  10. It really looks as if you do have an overkill on that snow. Art muse dog looks so cozy though. Keep safe and warm and remember that spring is coming... soon we hope!

  15. I hear you about enough already, although you have been getting even more than we have. Now it's so bitter cold that everything is frozen except for the main roads. I'm ready to hibernate the rest of winter! Glad Artmuse dog is taking it all in stride :)

  16. Hope the snow settles down and melts into sunshine soon. Your muse looks very comfy in that sunspot.

  17. They sure love the sunshine! Our cats are grumpy that they can't get out!

  19. What a winter you are having there in Massachusetts, Carol. I heard some areas have had record breaking snowfalls. I think Art Muse dog was dreaming about Spring!

  20. I'm hoping that you can stay home and play like Art Muse Dog, that is one (or two) serious dump of snow... I would be going up the walls or certainly bouncing along the branches!
Keep warm and hoping to see the toes of your fisherman soon!

  25. Wish there was a way we could bring some of your snow to our side of the continent. They've been saying we'll have rain tomorrow. I truly hope so.

  26. All that snow! I cannot even imagine!! Beautiful though.

    ReplyDelete
  27. You can send some of that snow out here! We need the water...

    ReplyDelete
  28. You guys certainly have had more than your fair share of snow this winter. Stay safe.

  29. Liking those snow pictures, Carol. Snow is very pretty if you don't have to be out in it for very long. Art is liking her sunshine, making the most of it for sure.

  30. I hope the snow eases up for you soon. With all our devastating fires across our south west state at the moment we could really do with some rain! I am glad that the "art muse dog" found a patch of sun warmth. Have a lovely weekend ahead and thank you for stopping by my blog today.

  31. I'm a pretty happy camper that I'm not getting that snow - it's been pretty but I grew up in Chicago and I don't miss it. Texas isn't bad this time of year, you could split your time between here and Georgia! :) ....and lovely Haiku.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I could use a hug right about now...love your photos and thoughts today.

  33. A nap in the sun with her toy. Dear!

    ReplyDelete
  34. What a nice picture with all these little birds in the trees !

    ReplyDelete
  35. Love the birdies on the winter branches! It must be so nice to have them right outside your window. We have a bunch in our front bushes....which are now so snow covered I don't know how they get in and out....I think it's like a bird igloo in there!

  36. I'm with the dog...on the floor in the sun.

  37. A stuck weather pattern is no fun. Ugh. Looks like you and your muse puppy are enjoying the indoor warmth.

  38. Chicagoland is sunny today but we have 18 inches on the ground...too cold for me to walk in but I do take photos from my car♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/lone-pod/

  40. That's a lot of snow! Hope you can move about a bit now.

  41. Wonderful wintery photos. We were hit pretty hard in Chicago with this last storm, but clearly you've got us beat. Wishing you warm fun things to do, and an exceptionally beautiful Spring to compensate.

    ReplyDelete
  42. So glad your dog got some sun! Have a lovely weekend!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Indeed a topsy turvy world! I hope you are doing great Carol.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I don't envy you your weather patterns! (It's supposed to be 85 degrees here in the desert today.)

    ReplyDelete
  45. sending you armfuls of warm sunshine to rest in and more birds singing in your trees!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I was mesmerized by your black and white photos and then awoke with that pop of color with your sweet little muse! We are either in a severe drought, or at this very moment in buckets of rain... I like your invitation to dance with these ever changing patterns that sometime appear stuck... stay cozy this weekend!

  47. Great world you live in - dog is as cute as can be and I love the shot of the tree with the birds.

  48. Oh my. It's been in the high 60's here and I thought it was cold. What do I know? For next winter, I have a spare bedroom. Not Georgia, but Florida near the beach. BUT you have to promise to bring Art Must Dog. :) Good weather haiku.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Topsy turvy, indeed. And, it looks like the birdbath is closed for the season.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Those little snow birds are a delight.

    ReplyDelete
  51. beautiful pictures. nice haiku. weather shall change too.

  52. beautiful photos… I understand the whole snow thing is very frustrating for a lot of folks. I guess I'm odd, I really love it when we have a good snowy New England winter, I'd missed it the last couple of years. It is just starting to fall here this evening, a light dusting judging from the weather poodle who just came in for doing her business. Stay warm Carol.

  54. Carol, I know that Massachusetts is definitely getting an abundance of snow this year! My brother and sil live in a coastal town near New Bedford and they have never seen as much snow! Hopefully Spring will arrive early this year. Your little valentine is the cutest!
