  3. Your photos of the snow and water are very beautiful - especially the first one. It looks cold but great by contrast with temps we are still getting out here. I am just back from a walk with my dog - and wiping the perspiration off my face as it drips down!!

  22. Oh boy - those ice melting shots are amazing! The pond near me is still frozen - just the little streams flowing into it are melting. I think {fingers crossed} that after this weekend we'll have turned the corner!

  26. Brrr is right. We're slated for a high of 84 today. It's supposed to hit 91 on Thursday and Friday.
    I shiver just looking at your pictures. Still, we're having a drought here in California of epic proportions. Everything has it drawbacks.

  33. It does look so cold where you are! I am always cold these days. My feet are cold as I type and I am wearing socks! We had a brief snow storm this morning and the sun is now shining bright. I am not a good cold weather person. I love the Springtime, I love the Autumn and I love your haiku! Happy wishes are being sent to you two! Thank you for sharing.

  55. Twenty years ago we lived on the shore of Lake Ontario. Ice Break Up was a pretty exciting time! The beauty of your winter as it melts into spring takes me back!
