    1. Naval Ship was invited to view the Sail of Schooners ~ social purpose ~ it is a gunnery ship I believe ~ It was a beautiful event and glad to have our Navy visit ~ No further information ~

  17. brilliant images. Love your Saturday shot...so cute. I have seen the three masted darker sails quite a bit around the north shore (Marblehead, Nahant) this season. They are beautiful.

  39. Great sunflowers..l they are just making an appearance here as we head into summer... And the photos of the boats are wonderful. I often go and watch the boats on the bay we live on but never think to photograph them... Maybe it is time to change that

  43. Oh, to have been there! Thanks for sharing the images. The quaint schooner must have been dwarfed among all the tall ships. I saw the Tall Ships Parade in New York Harbor in 2000. What a sight!
