A ShutterBug Explores ~ Thankful Thursday

'
Loneliness is the poverty of the self,
solitude is the richness of the self.'
~ May Sarton

View of the 'island' of Gloucester from the 'mainland side.'
It is a very beautiful place and is very busy in the Summer.

What am I grateful for today:

I am grateful for it all

More specifically:

That two days of 90's temps is over for now.
(not usually that hot here)

To be able to walk with my yorkie today and feel a major

breeze from the harbor.
For rain coming tomorrow and temps will be in the 60's
For living in New England where the weather if rarely dull.

We are sharing with:  Brian's Thankful Thursday.

We love your comments, thanks, ^_^

  1. A pretty view. Hopefully the hot temperatures will now stay away from you for a little while.

  2. That really is a pretty place. I think we were meant to live near the water, we just haven't moved yet. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

Isn't it strange how we long for the warm days of summer... and then peg out when they come?! Trouble is the extremes. No time to acclimitise. Enjoy your cooler breezes now! YAM xx

  5. I see why it's crowded in the summer, what a beautiful place! I'm glad it will be cooling down for you soon - for us, it'll be a while yet before we see 60 degrees.

  9. Thank you for stopping by our blig, and for your nice comment.

What a beautiful capture. You live in such a beautiful area! We're really glad things have cooled off here in Connecticut, too. Saturday and Sunday were pretty brutal. Today, however, was just about perfect, weather-wise. :)

  10. to me any place by the sea is a beautiful place. And I guess summer crowds always go with the territory. Glad you and Zoe were able to get some special walk days in between:)
