A ShutterBug Explores ~ Our World Tuesday

'I feel there's something incredibly honest about
trees in winter, how they are experts at letting things go.'

  1. You know those rocks are spaced about the right distance apart. As much cushioning as I have naturally I would need a bit more to be comfortable.

  2. On our walk this morning I told my husband that when we started on March 1, the trees were bare. Now they have a lush mantle of green leaves. - Margy

  3. I like that quote ... bare trees have always fascinated me (you can see how graceful they are) ....I’m glad you are finding outside places that are safe as well as beautiful!

  10. I have always wanted a boulder large enough to sit on. I can almost feel the cool air and the warm sun in this picture. A lovely early spring day with a warmed rock to sit on.

  13. Beautiful quote! Andrew Wyeth called winter trees “the bones of the earth”. That’s also very honest, the most hidden form of life.

  16. looks so peaceful and relaxing! love the quote also. Trees do teach us the most amazing things...such as the beauty of letting go, leaves withdrawing from life but beautiful as they drop in fall...
