  1. We love the birds too and feed all that show up. Our neighbors aren't happy because they sit on our fence and well leave their love behind. We don't care. The birds are welcome here.

  8. That is a bright and pretty bird. This year has seen record numbers here. They have had a very good breeding season and most are laying for their third brood.

  9. Aren't they the sweetest , brightest coloured little birds ever (here in North America at least ?) LOL .. we feed the Goldfinches too .. you can't help but love them !

  11. Love the Gold finches!! I had a feeder sock like yours but the darned squirrels got at it and gnawed holes into it:( I now have a heavy duty steel mesh feeder they can't get into or chew!

  12. Such a pretty yellow bird - looks like a finch. We see pairs of them flitting around the trees here often.

  14. Such a hansome birdy. They are so lively. It is fun to watch them go from their bright yellow plummage to their olive green plummage of winter. Then the best of all is when they change to their summer color in the spring .
