  6. The feeder I have outdoors similar to yours, Carol, birds peck around it. It has been out there 2 weeks. Any tips?

    1. Hi Sally ~ Not sure what you need to know but if the food in the feeder has been there two weeks and they are not eating it ? Two Things ~ (1)what kind of seed and does it have a lot of 'fillers' e.g ~ millet ~ ???? ~ (2) ~ after two weeks out in the feeder it gets wet from rain? and/or drys out and I would throw the seed out and start over with newer seeds ~ Also, wonder where the feeder is? Is it near a tree? ~ Those are some of my thoughts from what I have read in bird books.

  7. That reminds me to organize a bird feeder to put out when it gets cooler here, the birds loved our last one.
