ENJOYING WHAT IS ^_^

TABLET ROCK AT STAGE FORT PARK



This is a jewel of a park and close to home and close to where I grew up as a child. In the near distance, of course, is the Cape Ann Harbor and in the far distance is the old Paint Factory where they used to make paint for boats predominantly and now is being restored to some to degree and houses a business that is related to the ocean.

Here it is again ~ Ten Pound Island Lighthouse.


This photo was taken on an extremely windy day with a telephoto lens and thus the photo is a a bit blurred ~ I still like the effect it created as the lighthouse is, indeed, blurred from current activity. Historically, though, it was a major lighthouse. I salute you for your many years of work.

TEN POUND ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE



This is a wonderful little lighthouse that I believe has been deactivated. Imagine the stories it might be able to tell of historical happenings if it could talk.
