A Camera ~ you say? Will it bite?

DREAM VARIATIONSby Langston Hughes

To fling my arms wide
In some place of the sun,
To whirl and to dance
Till the white day is done.
Then rest at cool evening
Beneath a tall tree
While night comes on gently,
Dark like me, ~~
That is my dream!

To fling my arms wide
In the face of the sun,
Dance! Whirl Whirl!
Till the quick day is done.
Rest at pale evening...
A tall, slim tree..
Night coming tenderly
Black like me.

'Still not sure about that 'thing' in your hand.'

Hey Carol! How adorable! I also loved your poetry! (and I usually can't get into poetry of any kind). Is your pup's name Zoe? I don't know why, but for some reason, when I look at her/him, I keep thinking you called her that before. I wanted to greet both of you, but Art Muse Dog doesn't sound like a personal name, it sounds like what she is (your muse, your inspiration). LOL! Anyway, just wanted to say hi and compliment your post and pup!

That dog is pretty cute, and I'm not even a huge fan of 'em. I think what I'm really trying to say is you have a really cute dog. :)
