Magical Monday Meme and Macro Monday

Ocean's Art Creation

A CREATIVE HARBOR

Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit. (Note our new page above ~ 'Creative Spirit Process')

Today we are exploring macro photography and how the very process of shooting 'close up' stimulates inner energy of wonder that is so very present in nature and our nature. As I walked with my dog on this very small beach, I noticed the creations that the tide had left in the sand. It filled me with awe and wonder at 'nature's palette ~ so simple yet so very intricate. Check out Macro Monday for more talented artists' and their Macro photos.

Also consider joining, our Magical Monday Blog Meme with your creative photos, writings, painting, sketches, weavings, crafts or life style. Every day is filled with magic ~ such as my day walking on the beach and seeing the magic of the tides creations. The inner spirit, the inner eye sees the magic and the more you begin to 'see'the more 'magic' begins to appear and awes you with its awakening energy. We are also linked today with Creative Everyday.  with photographers, artists, crafters and more.

Another magical photo:

He seemed to pose for me.

Once I began to photograph this seagull, he almost appeared to be posing for me. It was a magical feeling just simply shooting photos of this wonderful bird as we seemed to connect. He did not fly away and I actually got him in several poses. It really was quite magical and fun. Even my little doggie didn't bother him/her ~ she was doing her own 'magic' ~ exploring the smells of the beach, the seaweed, the shells, the ocean critters. Lovely 'day at the beach.' Do consider joining us and link up below where it reads 'your next' and just follow the directions waiting for you.

  17. so true Carol, looking at things up close does indeed awaken spirit within...that has been my experience. I think it is a reflective experience...we slow down and examine the beauty of something else and that enables us to see our own radiance as well.
