|Hey, Where are we? |
A CREATIVE HARBOR
PAINT PARTY FRIDAY and HAIKU MY HEART
Welcome to our blog where we see life through the eyes of an artist's soul and explore how creativity can enhance the inner spirit.
This post is for PAINT PARTY FRIDAY
and HAIKU MY HEART
Thanks to Kristen and Eva for hosting PPF and Rebecca for hosting HMH. You will love the artists and writers. (Click on the links besides each pic to go there.) Enjoy.
white caps pound the beach
storm warnings, snow never came
rolling to sea now.
crocus popping up
unafraid to shine their light
unlike some people
fur person, little
one who gives so much love warms
my soul everyday.
Hope you enjoyed the artwork and the haiku. Come back again sometime soon. And have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs and namaste,
We love to have you post your comments, thoughts, or questions to delight us all in the day. ~ especially, ArtMuse Dog.
QUOTE FOR THE DAY: 'I was wrong to grow older. Pity. I was so happy as a child.' (Antoine DeSaint Exupery)
Love your penguins and poetry!ReplyDelete
For some reason I am reading meaning into your haiku today. I sense that you take it all as it comes, no matter what it is, and meet it head on. Your ready for Spring. Someone has you a bit miffed and you love your cat.ReplyDelete
How'd I do? So, I should keep my day job and not start that tarot practice I was thinking about?
I like the flow of your haiku and the signs of crocus' reminding us it's March!
Great post Carol...love the last quote...yes I was happy as a child...don't want to get old... :)ReplyDelete
Lovely post, Carol. I love your penguins. My granddaughter collects them in many forms.ReplyDelete

Love your penguins. They are delightful.ReplyDelete
And I especially enjoy your middle haiku. So many of us are afraid to shine their light. We need to be like the little crocus.
For some reason, I could not leave a comment last time you posted, but I am glad I can today. Love your penguins and your three stanzas of haiku. Do they call them stanzas in that genre? Hope your dog is well and helping you to keep your creative juices flowing.ReplyDelete

I love your penguin family, the adults so protective of their young. And the way the young are snuggled reminds me of how you would snuggle with your "fur" friend. Lovely haiku.ReplyDelete
