SWEET SATURDAYS ~ GOT GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and explore what creativity can do to enhance the inner spirit. Today we are exploring what can be 'sweet in your life' at Sweet Saturdays and what spark poetry and poets at Haiku Heights add to your life. (click on the blog titles to go there) We need food for the body and sweets in moderation. We also need spiritual food and haiku with its succinct approach, its three lines and seventeen syllables does just that. The word prompt for the haiku was 'endurance.' My three haiku are below: haiku I. self talk, endurance head like someone taps, tapping, on and on, no end. II. meditate, peaceful talk off now head rests at last endurance pays off. III. ship sails the seas far endurance weather fair, foul to seek each port, home. Hope you are enjoying the weekend and enjoyed our sweets and haiku ~ Hugs and namaste, and |
