'SOMETHING SWEET' Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of an artist soul and explore what creativity can do to enhance the inner spirit. Today we are exploring creativity through two blogs, Sweet Saturdays which promotes all types of creativity. The second blog is Haiku Heights and promotes poetic creativity. Also Writing on the Wall (click on either blog to go there) Above is a photo of a Grandmother doll created by a Native American Indian that I bought at local Museum. Unfortunately it does not have the creator's name on the card. Look closely and you will see the baby's face is looking up into the Grandmother's face. I thought this was too endearing and sweet not to purchase. Hope you think so too. Below is a special rock wall at one of our favorite beaches for Writing on the Wall.
Below are my three haiku: (prompt word was 'eager') I. eager to live, dance best enjoy life at its best moments well spent, joy. II. trees, flowers eager Mother nature is playing go slow child, enjoy. III. hawk eager, yet waits exact moment to catch prey lessons learned, see, be. Hope you are having a wonder filled weekend. Hugs and namaste, and We love to have you post your comments to delight us all in the day ~ especially, ArtMuse Dog ^_^ Our blog hop is every Monday, Magical Monday Meme ~ Come join us with your magical creations. We would love to have you join and meet new bloggers. QUOTE FOR THE DAY: ' Let us imagine care of the soul, then, as an application of poetics to everyday life.' (Thomas Moor) |

Hello Carol, This grandmother doll and baby are so sweet, the blanket exquisite... my favorite lines from your beautiful haiku is, "go slow child enjoy." I think the grandmother is singing this to the baby...
