Haiku Heights,Pets Pride and Writing on the Wall

the Green Man

Welcome to our blog where we view life through the eyes of an artist's soul and explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit.

 April is National Poetry Month

Saturday Note ~ Post ~ We are exploring haiku for the month of April but typically post on Saturday. (click on Haiku April Tab above under 'header')

We are also exploring photos of pets at Pet's Pride and Sweet Saturdays and what could be sweeter than ArtMuseDog below.

'You want me to write what for the blog?'

We are also exploring writing on walls and doors. I have chosen the 'Green Man' for 'Writing on the Wall' as he is an ancient Pagan symbol and has survived the 'test of time'. He is usually depicted with leaves around his face, related to Spring. Historically, he has been symbolic of rebirth or renaissance. Over the years he has even been carved on the walls of churches. Although his image can be a rather intimidating one, I love his image. Am not sure what delivery people think when they see the Green Man on the door but those that know me are not surprised at all.

Today for Haiku Heights please click the Tab above entitled Haiku April and view my daily haiku for Saturday, April 7th ~ 7th haiku  for 'prompt' ~ forgive.

For those that celebrate Easter, I am wishing you a Happy Easter and much good health, love and sharing.

Hugs and namaste,

and
