PAINT PARTY FRIDAY and HAIKU MY HEART

Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of the artist's soul and explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit.

Note: Blog Hop every Monday ^_^

Today we are bordering on insanity ~ LOL ~ not really. I couldn't create this blog post due to 'google' and 'blogger' making changes midstream. So my 'muse' was feeling very frustrated as it is the post for Friday. For those of you 'in the know' Friday means Paint Party Friday with Eva and Kirstin and Haiku My Heart with Rebecca. Both groups are wonderfully creative people.

The photo above is an Asian type brush painting that I created within the last week.  Some will like it and others may think the face looks dirty which I did at first. Then I decided to go with it because when one is fishing or has been fishing one is not very sparkly and ready for the ball. So here he is. 'Aiden'

The haiku that I have written is below:

haiku

ever on my mind
beating heart yearning love one
stay close, with me, Tao.

wandering thoughts, drunk
like a monkey mind rambling
come home to center.

silly girl in huff
nothing all important that
laugh at self, be free.

So enjoy the artists and poets. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs and namaste,

and

We love, love to have you post your comments, thoughts or questions to delight us all in the day ~ especially ArtMuse Dog ^_^

Every Monday we have our blog hop, Magical Monday Meme for anyone who is the least bit creative. Share what you create, needlework, photos, paintings, poems, decorating, whatever it is that you create. It is all magic.

  1. When I read your last poem, I couldn't help but smile. I think you were describing me.

I actually admire all your water color paintings, since it's something I can't do, but I can admire those who have the talent.

    Lovely post!

  17. I think the Japanese style of your painting is appropriate to haiku. Everything has that feel today. Serene. Renewal. Coming home.

  34. I needed no explanation of her face. Looks like shadows to me, maybe like tilting her head downward to get her delicate eyes out of the harsh sun. I really am liking these Asian Style paintings. I might be writing you about a deal for a set of them. But I'm busy now, leaving town tomorrow. I love the Haiku. It has very sweet sentiments.

    Much Peace

  36. You would love Teri C from 'Painted Daisies' as she loves Haiku too. Both are fun works. And yes Blogger struck me too. Arrgh. But I downloaded Google Chrome and use it now and it works great. but I didn't make it my default whatever and it still works.
