My Favorite Things and This and That Thursday

'Lone Poppy'

Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and explore how creativity can enhance the inner spirit.

Note: Magical Monday Meme blog hop is here every Monday ~ waiting for you.

This post is for Thursday which means we are exploring photography of all sorts. The two blogs we are linked to are My Favorite Things and This and That Thursday.

The photo above is of the little poppy that surprised me one rainy morning this week when I was walking ArtMuse Dog. It was at the end of the driveway all by itself. Now there are more poppies coming and they are extraordinary.

  5. Beautiful picture and haiku. I liked it and translated it into French...

I took pictures of poppies on my way home yesterday: I don't know why, they are red in reality and on pictures they look orange. Are they blushing when we take a picture of them?
