Dragger of 'Glosta'

Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit.

Today, Thursday we are exploring photography from

The above photo is of a 'dragger' and I believe what they are dragging for is eels. They stay in the harbor for the most part and evidently there is a 'market' for eels. I was always afraid as a child when I swam way out in the ocean that an eel would get me. Amazing what thoughts we have as children, eh?. I am really waxing nostalgic this week but have wonderful childhood memories growing up right by the ocean. Summers met beach time, Fiestas, fireworks and sun, sea and sand. Fun times. Grateful.

Enjoy the variety today of very talented photographers and varied topics.  Wishing you the best in the day.

  17. Carol, Thank you for inviting me to the Rural Thursday blog hop! I used to catch eels when I was a child fishing with my father. We weren't actually fishing for eels, but they kept getting caught on our hooks.
