Dragger of 'Glosta' Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit. Today, Thursday we are exploring photography from Favorite Things Thursday, This and That Thursday and Rural Thursday (click on their links to go there) The above photo is of a 'dragger' and I believe what they are dragging for is eels. They stay in the harbor for the most part and evidently there is a 'market' for eels. I was always afraid as a child when I swam way out in the ocean that an eel would get me. Amazing what thoughts we have as children, eh?. I am really waxing nostalgic this week but have wonderful childhood memories growing up right by the ocean. Summers met beach time, Fiestas, fireworks and sun, sea and sand. Fun times. Grateful. Enjoy the variety today of very talented photographers and varied topics. Wishing you the best in the day. Hugs and namaste, and We love to have you post your comments, thoughts or questions to delight us all in the day ~ especially, ArtMuse Dog ^_^ There is a blog hop here every Monday, Magical Monday Meme for all creative people and all mediums. Join us. Thanks. QUOTE FOR THE DAY: 'The model is not to be copied but to be realized.' (Robert Henri) |

ReplyDeleteAh to be at the beach. I used to love to go but I'm supposed to stay out of the sun as much as possible. You have me waxing nostalgic as well.
