|Toned Photo b/w by carol l mckenna|
summer solstice passed
light changing, days grow shorter
nature cycles lead.
like a dream each day
light moves in cycles spinning
moving each moment
pagan belief old
yet new, more real this century
light, energy enlighten

Hi Carol, I got the water colour set at Barnes & Noble. I will look for the name of it. It was very inexpensivee, $19.95. The brushes are horrible but I love the cakes and tubes. It also includes sketch pensils and the little metal suitcase it all comes in is amazing.ReplyDelete
Photos of the Rose are beautiful.I love both.So delicate!ReplyDelete
I love your Summer of Color Baseball Nut entry! Gorgeous painting. My doggy would like your doggy... Thank you, too, for visiting!ReplyDelete
Wow! These are pretty.ReplyDelete
Good day Carol, a wonderful triplet of haiku on Summer Solstice. Very well done with a deeper spiritual meaning. I love the third one the most. I see myself as a Pagan (or Wiccan), so that one talks really to me.ReplyDelete
