Flower Growing on Canal Pilings Welcome to our blog where I view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and with my assistant, ArtMuse Dog we explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit. Today's post is for Wednesday which means we are exploring poets and photographers who are creatively expressing themselves in their own styles. Each blog is unique yet similar and filled with lots of creativity for the inner spirit. We are sharing today with: HAIKU SENSATIONAL AQUARIANN'S WORDLESS WEDNESDAY MY FAVORITE PHOTO My haiku are below for Haiku Sensational which had as the prompt word 'confidence'. QUOTE FOR THE DAY: ' The Zen master calligrapher Hakuin (1686-1769) when asked how long it took him to produce a single work rendered in simple bold strokes, replied, 'Ten seconds and 80 years.'
Beautiful photo! Lovely how nature finds a way, hmm?

Ah, that inner voice is vital. Enjoyed these.
ReplyDelete"confidence or instinctive", I love that line. I really enjoy visiting your blog, the photography and poetry feel like a little escape.
ReplyDeleteHere's one to ponder: Is confidence instinctive, or something we have to learn, or a little of both?

I LOVE the colour of the water and the way you photographed with the drying grass in the foreground.

I liked the line about listening to your "inner voice." I believe we all have an inner voice telling us exactly the right things to do... But sometimes we get clouded and we can't hear it or forget that it is there.
ReplyDeleteLove the haiku~that idea of confidence versus instinct is interesting.
ReplyDeleteYes it's all instinctive, whether human or otherwise! An animal in its way outwits man purely on instinct though! Great write Carol!
