Beach, Ducks and Ocean Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit. Working with photography, art and poetry deepens my inner spirituality and keeps me close to nature. Reading Taoism each morning and being reminded to be aware of what is 'right in front of my nose' is a real gift. It quiets my 'monkey mind' and allows me to be true to myself. In turn, it improves my creative expression as long as I practice, practice, practice as well. Most important is living in 'the now' ~ the present, and living each day well in a healthy, focused way. Breathing and being aware. Today we are exploring three creative blogs, My Favorite Things and This and That and A Rural Journal The photo above was taken at a small local beach that I actually used to go exploring at when just a young child. The photo below is for TAT and is a macro of beach creatures, periwinkles, barnacle, crabs and more. The same beach I enjoyed exploring as a child.
Hope you enjoy the blog links above and the serene energy of my photos. I live in a beautiful part of the country blessed with ocean and woods. Love being close to nature. Grateful ^_^ Hugs and namaste, and We love to have you post your comments, thoughts or questions to delight us all in the day ~ especially ArtMuse Dog ^_^ She thinks Google + is pretty neat also. There is a blog hop here every Monday for creative people whatever they create from paintings, sketches, needlework, cooking, photography ~ Come join us. Thanks. ^_^ QUOTE FOR THE DAY: 'Sometimes I get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter.' ( Ansel Adams) |
