Paint Party Friday and Haiku My Heart

I added a clay face (which I had made) some stars in the sky and buffed the edges and side of the canvas with burnt orange lumiere paints. This is not a 'box' as some thought. It is a 5x5 canvas with a 2" cradle. It is painted with acrylics paints, collaged with handmade papers, and clay. It is self hanging and almost completed as indicated in photo below.

haiku


farmer's market show
veggies, fruits, baked goodies galore
outdoor fun in sun.

heat stroke, sun too warm
doggie overheated fast
cooling down slowly.
-o-


home, deck with cool breeze
fun out, grand to come home
haven from the crowds.

  2. It IS grand to come home, especially after fun in the sun. Hope ArtMuseDog cooled down! Your flower basket is twice as nice as mine which is just the white plastic one from the market, but same flowers at least.

  5. Wonderful collage! I love the paper landscape and the little fish. At this thickness and size, it would be perfect to sit on a shelf as well as hang.
