| Rocky Neck ~ Cultural District on Cape Ann MA K is for keel for Alpahbe Thursday ~ 'timber of plate running length wise along the center of the bottom of a ship' ~ even smaller boats have keels. haiku without my keel where? centered, focused, finding self off course often. I live in a coastal town on the Northeast coast of New England. We have our rural areas and yet you can find a tiny rural piece near the center part of town that suggests Rural Thursday as in this photo below of a tiny sparrow that seemed to pose for me. |

Carol, we are moving from Tucson to coastal Georgia on Monday. I really love the rural life and Brunswick is a town of only 30,000 people. I love your photos, as always.

Just coming to your blog makes me wanna head north to visit all those quaint little New England towns along the coast and oh my! The seafood is so delicious - the best! I only like eating seafood when I'm in New England no other place. Okay, I lied just a bit. I will eat crab cakes on occasion at a few select restaurants in town. Very nice homey feeling 'K' post!

I just love your header - sooo beautiful! And, you know I have a fond spot for New England, especially Maine, right? Just coming to your blog makes me wanna head north to visit all those quaint little New England towns along the coast and oh my! The seafood is so delicious - the best! ReplyDeleteThe harbor looks like a great place to be. I live in Omaha, Nebraska. There is not a lot of Rural happenings around here either. My kids however love the outdoor. I capture what I can.

Well, now I know the difference between a keel and a rudder.....great shot of Smith's Cove, and your avian friend....and, I, too, am often off course - if I even know the course to begin with!
