Artists and Poets Friday

Ms. Sandpiper ~ watercolor and  brush pen

Friday Post ~ Means Artists and Poets. This week has flown by and the most art work I have done is photography, haiku and trying to complete my sketchbook for the Sketchbook Project 2013. So here is a painting above that I did today with watercolors and brush pen on hot press watercolor paper. I used a photo in Golden Guide to Birds. Living near the seashore I love the shore birds. As you can tell from previous posts this week, ArtMuse Dog and I have spent lots of time walking and visiting the beach that is nearby. So good for the creative spirit.

another so quickly gone
wheel of life spinning.

leaves green, colors next
amazing rapidity now
days warm, nights cooler.

ah, New England time
reds, golds, oranges, shine
delighting the eyes.

  2. It seems life is flying by...what's going on? The work load is overwhelming and I'm hurrying winter which will, hopefully, give me some rest time.

On September 21st I always think of New England and Fall colors. I was there once right on the cusp of your reds, golds, and oranges. I hope I can see Fall in full someday.
