Coast Guard on Cape Ann MA ~ for Weekly Top Shot We are sharing our post with these creative bloggers: paint party friday photo art friday carpe diem haiku friday sky watch friday black and white weekend weekend reflections weekly top shot MOTIVATING CREATIVITY IDEAS ~ is an added feature to our blog and begins below: There are many ways of being creative just as there are many ways to center and focus yourself to be actively creating. Whether it is through, meditating, prayer or just asking your 'higher self', do what is good for you. What works for me, most times, is to develop mantras that I say over and over again. Eventually through repetition, they become internalized and a 'way' of living. In a book the Artist's Soul by Linda Coons, she even suggests becoming your own cheerleader when life interferes with time for creating. She even suggests this old 'football cheer': ' Push 'em back! Shove 'em back! Waaaaay back! So when life begins to demand your time and interferes with creating time maybe this light hearted cheer might help. Wishing you the best in each day. xxooo Your posted comments delight us in every way.
