Bitter cold here too, Carol...it will be here soon. And his toys? He's right...they don't belong on the chair!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteOften good and sometimes necessary to look back at the golden fall light to get through the gray...
ReplyDeleteAll your images are beautiful but of course ArtMuse takes the bone!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend...x
What a pretty view of the cape in the autumn. I hope it warms up for all of us soon.
ReplyDeleteHi,Carol. the orchid flower photo is very beautiful. The present warmed my heart too. I like your Haiku too. Thanks for sharing.

To have a leader (especially a beautiful maiden) on the pilgrimage is most comforting to the wayfarers.

She wants her toys ! Thanks for the beautiful haikus and pix as always!
ReplyDeleteWonderful haiku and your photos are beautiful as always. I especially like your Top Shot for the week. It is a real keeper. Your ArtMuse is the most precious companion. Just love the look like...why in the world are you messing with MY toys.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely light framed by the trees Carol. "Woof, woof, give me my toys back".
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn shot and a gorgeous orchid. I bet she is wondering why someone put her toys on the chair. Happy weekend, Carol.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny that art muse didn't want her toys on a chair. hahahahaha I love your little dog. :)
ReplyDeleteOh gosh your dog is a gem. I love your dog!! Heidi, my corgi, would also bark if her toys were somewhere strange. She is also sneaking into the boys rooms to find "new" toys. HOWEVER, if she finds one that she decides is hers, she feels no remorse taking them outside to chew. I found a note pad and pen in her mouth as she tried to get it through the doggy door yesterday! HA!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your life...
Happy Paint Party Friday!
I'm late...Happy Saturday!

Lovely shots, we are heading into colder nights here but still warm days. I guess that means the warmth is heading your way. :-)
ReplyDeleteI've just fallen in love with orchids. I found a lovely, miniature one this winter at Trader Joe's and have gone back to get two more. They are so interesting and add some much needed color into my life during winter.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful light in the second photo. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteAMD being cute again! A gorgeous orchid!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful orchid! Hang in there, spring is on it's way!
ReplyDeleteDearest Carol;

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful, beautiful Carol! Thanks for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro:-)
ReplyDeleteYour dog and its toys. Our dogs get concerned when we put there toys where they don't belong also. I love your haiku and the orchid splendid.
ReplyDeleteMarch and April are usually our snowiest months, so a proper spring is a long way away. But the days are long, and it's certainly warmer (although not this weekend). Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteOur March is coming in like a lion and April is nowhere in sight to play this role. The cold, the rain, the warning of icy conditions, have us fleeing into shelter preparations for those who might need help. Prayers are rising that electricity remains and shelters aren't needed after all.
ReplyDeleteSo very beautiful and what lovely dog you have :)
ReplyDeleteWonderfull the links card paradise, have a nice new wwek, beautifull post and fotos.
ReplyDeleteMarch has brought a tempeature above zero, but snow has visited us once again. So no signs of spring, for Indiana that is quite common. What a beautiful haiku! Every time I see Art Muse I hanker for a dog, but with two cats, that's not likely. I love the image of a warmer day. My idea of Paradise is to live by a lake or river. Ahh!
ReplyDeleteOrchids are my favorite flower! I have only ever had one last for more than a couple of months. :( ArtMuse is adorable!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling pup!! And of course the scenery and flowers are superb.
ReplyDeletegorgeous one and all!
ReplyDeletestay warm my friend. soon spring will arrive and melt all our hearts!
Your picture postcard (from warmer days!) is a joy to behold!
