  2. Not sure about your doggie,Carol, but I'm sure mine would be carefully tip-toeing out into that snow. We lived in snow area for many years, and had to scoop out a place for our little dogs to go out to do their business!

  27. Crazy how early your first snow was...we drove through snow on Halloween, but we were up in the mountains. I remember when we lived in Vermont and the UP of Michigan...we would often get a first snow in October. Beautiful photos.

  38. Oh my fickle nature indeed! Cold but so beautiful ...especially the pink glow on the new snow! Almost enough to make me long for winter! Of course it never looks that pretty here in the PNW... All other seasons are wonderful, but winter is so not.
