A Shutterbug is exploring Cape Ann MA each week with her camera and her assistant as always. We do look for 'the magic' and sometimes it appears when we are seemingly not looking.
What a gift. What treasures nature offers to each of us.

We start our 'blogland' week on late Monday afternoon for Tuesday and then add a post each day. Hope you will make a return visit and share with us.

it could hold a rather large amount of gratitude.'

  18. Yes, an unusual and very lovely sky!

  19. Beautiful sunlight peeking through the clouds.

  20. Being an animal lover, artmuse dog is just the cutest dog I've ever seen. My heart goes out to him.

  21. I have to agree. That which should feel chilling instead shares nothing but warmth, a loving and radiant hug.

  22. I like the rays of sunshine breaking through. We could use a few of those today here. - Margy

  23. Does the fur person enjoy the snow? Just wondering. My dog would be confused. :) I like the bright sky trying to break through the cloud cover. I bet you like to see the bright sky this time of year. I grew up in NJ and remember the gray winter sky.

  24. Artmuse just looks so "huggable"! Great shots. Have a great evening.

  25. Hello, I always enjoy seeing your sweet furbaby. Great fence scene. Enjoy your day!

  33. Pretty skies! Enjoy your weekend, Carol.

  34. Seeing the sun does invigorate and renew all that is diminished by the clouds. And you do that with all your beautiful words and photos!! Thank you!

  35. But the sun can hide its light for only so long, and then it must shine again!

  36. Thanks for your week of lovely shares
Happy you dropped in at my blog today

  39. love how you create a weeks worth of beautiful posts...it's a joy!

  40. feeling greatly loved and dressed in your beauty-thank you!

  41. You covered the whole week, Carol, and I'm delighted you did. So, how are you and Artmuse dog doing? So good to have our little Mary group together for the fifth year.

  42. Very nice with the pictures, Carol. Of Art is always top dog on your blog. She is the kind of dog every person would like to own. Note, I'm picking on your Heart Warmers tonight, finally I loaded up my Houston Thanksgiving Parade pictures.
So, 'the tree.' I like the bird's nest there, exposed after the leaves have left. I hope the birds are okay.

  43. Hello Carol! Love your posts, as always. And your haiku captures the mists perfectly. Your little scamp is such a darling, I'm always curious where I'm going to see her in your photos. I too love that lone tree! I wish I could figure out what is in the branches? A kite? Thank you Carol and have a great weekend!

  44. Hello, I love your cute Love Bug. Adorable doggie. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

  45. Hi Carol, lovely shares, as always. I love that lone wintry tree photo. So beautiful. Nice to see you at Ms. Jenny's and everywhere else too.

  46. Artmuse Dog has to be one of the cutest ever. I just love looking at pictures of him. I know he is the love of your life. All of your other shots were beautiful as always, and I like how you set them up all in one post to fit into the memes. My way of doing it leaves a lot to be desired. I need to try following your format. genie

  47. I like your wintery tree photo a lot -- the composition, the colors, the emotion, everything.
The View from the Top of the Ladder

  48. I love your shots of your little cutie. We have the exact same doggie steps for our little Socks to climb to the bed (Laika can jump so she doesn't use them).

  49. Sweet images of your pup, and I just adore that quote by Milne.

  50. Happy day to you.

I too have a small heart.

  51. gorgeous scenes..Cute doggie...Love the lone tree as well..HAve a happy Sunday..

  52. Fabulous photos. Gratitude is a panacea for all troubles, problems and sorrows. We are blessed with so many things in life which millions of other people don't have.

The fog can prevent the sunlight only for a little while. Sooner or later the sun will come out of the fog in all its blazing glory.

    Best wishes.

  53. She is a treasure! And so are you!

Your talent just shines from each link! And your haiku was delicious, too!

Thanks for the smile and for warming my heart this chilly AZ day!
