Very nice photos!
ReplyDeleteYour sunset photos are something else. That grey that covers the area after/before a storm. I can hear your plea for sunshine in your haiku. I hate that you and the little Muse can't walk the beach when there are tourists about. Enjoy it while you can.
ReplyDeleteHello, Love the sky shot. Your haiku seems to be perfect for our week. The sketch is wonderful, you are talented. Love your sweet furbaby! Happy Tuesday, enjoy your week ahead!

Beautiful photos and thoughts - your Rose (for R) is so much like the ones that climb my gateway. Do you know the name of them? They were here when we moved to town, and nobody has been able to tell me.
ReplyDeleteThe photo is of flowers my son sent to me on Mother's Day so I am not able to tell you what kind of roses they are ~ wish I could.
Deletewell, at least now the view outside for you looks alot more warmer - no doubt you're enjoying Spring :-)
ReplyDeleteHi! Your sketch is lovely. I like your Haiku. The rose photo is very cool. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love the first quote about a bird's song. I love everything that birds have to tell us.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I didn't mean to say that a president is head of part of the state, but he is chosen from a number of candidates. His party loves him, the other parties don't or at least not so much and he causes a division. This is not the case in a kingdom because the king is neutral and not politically involved. The whole nation is united on his birthday or her birthday. Look how these birthday s were celebrated in the UK, the Netherlands and Sweden the past few weeks. Our P.M.'s birthday is not even known in our country. Let alone being celebrated. A king or queen units, a president divides and has to fight for his acts and measures. He has to face opposition and to defend the steps he wants to take.
ReplyDeleteThanks for responding back ~ understand where you are 'coming from' ~
Deletethe rose are beautiful and I have to say the best shot

ReplyDeleteSunlight will follow rain. Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteDear Carol, thank you for these glimpses into your world... love the play of shadows and light this week. And little Zoe, looks so pretty. I'm glad she has the beach for now. Can't wait to see all the flowers your spring rains bring! Are there any hermits living in those shells you sketched? ;-) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteReally? It rained that much! I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about Spring must be that you and the Art Muse can go run on the beach. It's too bad there isn't a section set aside during the season where dogs are allowed (but I suppose it would be too hard to keep them in). Loving all the Cape Ann pictures too -- that sunbeam looks like somebody could ride up to the sky on it!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of bird on the fence. Lovely sky and cute pups.
ReplyDeleteWhat a collection of photos this week! ArtMuseDog is just so darn adorable and looking so spiffy after the visit to the groomers.
ReplyDeleteZoe looks very pretty. Enjoy the beach while you can, Zoe!
