I like the pontoon boat, so easy to board.
ReplyDeleteLoving your beach meditation picture -- soft always prevails! Wonderful. Everything is wonderful today (as usual). Even the top quote made me smile -- I would never have thought Eleanor Roosevelt and my Yoga teacher had anything in common, but she always tells us to love ourselves through our Yoga practice. Then we can better love others.)
ReplyDeleteI love the sunset colours and your critters. Enjoy your week, Carol!

It's always a joy to see your photos from a beach-side at the other side of the ocean... love from the European beach in the Netherlands!
ReplyDeleteAll happy. Especially the critters: the tough one seeking food, the spoiled one playing on the beach, the ducky wucky. Your etegami art is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou're right: Somewhere in this world of hard and jagged edges, there is always some softness. Happy haiku Friday!
ReplyDeleteLove your cute piece for PPF.
ReplyDeleteI love that good old "duckie" feeling. I wonder why and how that saying got started?
ReplyDelete"soft always prevails!" beautifully said! Lovely pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteI can see the shift in the light in your part of the world Carol! Love your haiku, that reminder of soft strength, is wonderful and delight in your etegami and looking for pics with your sweet Zoe! Have a beautiful weekend my haiku friend!
ReplyDeleteYou have such pretty sunsets there on the cape. - I bet it would be fun to ride on the Pontoon boat. - Always sweet to see your little dog.
ReplyDeleteYour etegami is so cute this week. You have really mastered the technique. Mine is pretty puny, but the hiking boot from last week Buddy really wants framed....and that makes me feel good. All the water shots are so pretty. You live in a gorgeous part of the country though I bet your winters leave lots to be desired. Hope the water calms them down a bit. Hugs, genie
