Saturday ~ (2 photos) ~ Camera Critters and Saturday Critters
Zoe was very unsure about this new person patting her ~ Zoe really likes 'her space' and not to be fondled too much ~ We were at a new place with new people so she was looking at me for security.

  1. Most people don't realize that ALL dogs don't like people in their face. Especially when they don't know them. Good little Zoe for not snapping. I wouldn't blame her if she did.
Your photos are fabulous. Love your little sketches. Happy Week to you.

  4. I was just in your neighborhood last week! We spent a few days up in that area. We really loved your neighboring town Marblehead. I have put it on my list to make it back there with my good camera. I used my cellphone, but it didn't do it justice.

  11. ps....I forgot to answer your question you left for me in my comments--------

Yes, it IS padre island, but not the popular SOUTH Padre Island...this is still the same island barrier, but NORTH padre island...about 200 miles from the resort section of the island.

    much love...

  57. Beautiful photos, Carol. I do love the donkey and horse photos!

Zoe is so gorgeous! My Cody likes 'his space' when it comes to strangers too and, unlike Zoe, he would probably have snapped so I have to say 'no' to people when they want to pat him. They would get the message anyway because he gives lots of warning growls. It can be very unsettling for some dogs to have strangers approach and touch them just as it would be for many of us.

    Have a lovely week!
