A CREATIVE HARBOR ~ FYI ~ Snippets of Blog Historically

Historical Snippets of Our Blog ~ A ShutterBug Explores
aka (A Creative Harbor)

We post daily and link to other bloggers.
Hope you enjoy your visit and come back often and leave sweet comments.

Love having you ~ ^_^

I have chosen 'snippets' because I have learned that life is just that ~ moments of short takes, snaps, and they all add up to the day in time. It all goes by in 'a blink' and then we all wonder where did the time go?' Photography and other creative expressions allow me to 'capture' the moment even for just a nano second.

Thus, I am learning to live in the moment, let go of the past and stop worrying about the future and as you know it is not always easy to do so. Life is is like a winding road filled with bumps along the way ~
joy and sorrow.

My photography, my haiku, my art and most of all my dear fur person all help me to learn to enjoy the moment and treasure the memories. Life is like that. We are all in
transition. Patience.Live in the light.

We love your comments.thanks.

  1. Hi Carol! Thanks for your summer visit! The weather is very unbalanced at the moment: sometimes very hot and dry, other days heavy rainfall.

  2. Ha! I get your title now, Carol. All this time I thought Creative Harbor was the name of the harbor where you live. An actual harbor. I love your harbor even more.

  6. I like that you've said...Creativity is spiritual. I've been WAY more creative lately and last night my son asked me what I was going to do with what I'm making. You know, going through the creative process every day is therapy for me and that's worth a lot, isn't it? Sweet hugs, Diane

    1. It's a little tricky to know that when you want to comment....you just start typing. There's no box that comes up to type in. Did you know you are a 'no reply' blogger? That means I can't reply to a question in the email that comes to me. It's always a lot to make changes! Good luck! Hugs!

  25. You are right, we have to live in the moment. My late father has a friend, Helen, who is still with us and she is 104 years old and still lives in her own house and is very active and is still mentally active. I asked her what her secret is and she said she learned to feel deeply but let go when you have to do so.
