A ShutterBug Explores ~ Saturday Critters

'In art as in love, instinct is enough.'
~ Anatole France

You have to use your imaginative eye ~ there is a critter
in this rock formation on Cape Ann MA beach.
Can you see it? What does it look like to you?

  1. No I did not see anything live. Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Hello, I am undecided on my guess. Maybe a seal? I see the little footprints nearby. Love the shadow capture. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

  3. Hi Carol I see a seal with its nose buried in the sand?

  4. Hari Om
Okay; one eye adjustment, it is the head of a hump-back whale... another adjustment it is a seal snoozing... and on third adjustment, I could see sleeping dog. Better let that one lie, eh? YAM xx

  5. I've made the photograph bigger and the only critter I see is your shadow taking a picture. I have old eyes though.

    Have a fabulous weekend. ☺

  6. I'm seeing a porcupine, but more in the etchings on the surface of the rock.

  7. Wow - very nice shadow photo, Carol!
    Have a Happy Weekend!
    Peace :)

  8. I see a roadrunner coming out of that rock.

  9. I see a dinosaur..you know the kind with the "sail" on its back.

  10. I am extremely imaginative.. Sea Lion I will say :)
