  1. Hello Carol, cute closeup of the Gull. They are always looking for food. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Thanks so much for your comment and visit. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

  2. Great photo of the Gull!
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. Crazy having a Herring (?) Gull on your deck. Gulls in general eat about anything as I am sure you have observed over the years. I think they are interesting birds. Happy New Year of the Dog. I am sure Zoe approves. Have a good weekend.

  4. I love the quote and it's ever so true.

Have a fabulous weekend, Carol. Scritches to Zoe. ♥

  5. Very nice shot of the gull! Agree with the quote. Have a great weekend.

  6. What a great pose for your camera! Those gulls are the best scavengers!
    Best wishes!

  10. That is a nice clear close up. I bet it's there for both reasons (:

  11. that is one of my favorite quotes of all. And so true. Great pic of the gull! Nasty bout of snow early last eve til late which made for not so good driving. So we cancelled dinner plans. Thankfully sun out today, it's warming and melting those 5" we got quickly.
Thanks for all your lovely, thoughtful comments. Happy Sunday!

  12. A nice profile of the sea gull!
