A ShutterBug Explores ~ Our World Tuesday

' A jug fills drop by drop.'

Ten Pound Island in summer on Cape Ann MA.

This summer of 2020 sure is different ~ not many boats ~ no festivals, no concerts, no large crowds
gathering to keep us safe. Won't miss the loud concerts but I sure miss seeing all the pleasure boats.
It will go down in history, for sure, as the year that 'wasn't.

We are sharing with: Our World Tuesday.

We love your comments, thank you.

  1. Hello, this is unlike anything I have ever experienced. Besides 9/11, that was not a good feeling either. Love the view and photo! Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!

  2. The quiet is strange but healing. About the quote: "A jug fills drop by drop." There are certainly lots and lots and lots of drops filling that harbor. :)

  3. It certainly is a lovely photograph.

    All the best Jan

  4. Such a pretty place, we'd miss seeing the boats too.

  5. The year that wasn't yes, I stil love your gentle layer cake sky.

  6. Very very relaxing dear Carol! It's very peaceful and quiet! hugs to you and Miss Zoe!

there is something other-worldly about this image - peaceful and freeing. YAM xx

  8. This is so true about this year.
10 pound Island. Now there must be a good story behind that name.
    Beautiful photo.

  9. A year for the history books for sure. We are certainly living in “interesting” times. Do you think you will be allowed to walk Zoe on the beach since there are not the usual summer crowds of people?

    1. No walking on the beach for us ~ beach and boulevard are where the people go until the virus has subsided ~ MA is a mess ~ at times.

  10. It looks calm, and beautiful, and a little too quiet.
