A ShutterBug Explores ~ Saturday Critters

'I have been scientifically studying the traits and dispositions of the 'lower animals' (so called)
and contrasting them with the traits and disposition of man.
I find the result profoundly humiliating to me.'
~ Mark Twain

Believe this is a gold finch enjoying lunch on Cape Ann MA.

We are sharing with: Eileen's Saturday Critters.

  1. Hello,

Yes, it is a pretty Goldfinch. Great capture. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, have a great weekend.

  2. Those sweeties and all the critters are no longer the lower animals.

  3. How pretty! We haven't seen a goldfinch in months....they must all be in your neck of the woods! Happy weekend.

  4. Mark always has a way with words. Your goldfinch is sweet. Have a great week.

  5. Congrats for being a fabulous birds host! Take care :)

    All the best Jan

  9. Beautiful bird, looks like he has a mouthful.

  10. a male gold finch. The females are much duller- as is most cases with the birds- I wonder why? They all sing equally beautiful songs though:)
