    Beautiful. Yesterday it was 107 degrees here. Fires still burning and today it's going to be in the upper 90s with smoke. I can't wait for fall to arrive.

    Carol - my husband and I talk frequently about the American dream, and whether it is still obtainable. I believe it is; he is not so sure. It would be a sad day for me to give up that notion! Hang on to summer as long as you can!
