Dark-eyed Juncos are beginning to sing here. They will soon be heading North to their breeding grounds. I love these warm pre-spring days. They remind us of what is to come.
Carol i love the way spring arrives- suddenly there are new bird songs with the early sunrise! robins in the garden and gold finches lifting the last seeds from long dried sunflower heads. oh friend-visible delicious signs we have made it through a dark winter to share the growing light!
