~ Invasion of the 'critters' has forced the bird feeders to be
taken down until Autumn probably ~ Had too many other critters
lately to warrant feeding the birds. oh well.

  1. Hello,
The Chipmunk is a cutie. It is a shame the feeders had to come down, I understand it is not good to have a unwanted critters hanging around. I had to do take my feeders down too, only my hummingbird feeders are up. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend!

  3. Sometime unexpected critters eat the birdseed we put out. Cute squirrel … in summer months especially, creatures have access to food in the wild.

  7. Happy Father's Day!

Ms. G has had to do a few modifications but she managed to find ways to make the bird feeders unreachable by the other critters.

  8. What a beautiful tribute to your dad. Super sweet photo. The chipmunk is cute, but sadly we live around too many people with yards that aren't inviting to them.

  12. What a precious photo of you and your dad.
OMDs we don't have any problems with the squirrels eating our seed thanks to a barrel baffle on the 4 hook shaft. BUT we are having a time with Chickadees THINKING THEY ARE HUMMERS. In all the years of feeding hummers, I've never had this. Not sure what is causing this insanity cause the slits on the h.b. feeder are just wide enough for a slip of paper to get in. I know Chickadees don't have long tongues
    Hugs to you and Zigg

  15. Loved seeing you and your Dad, nice way to remember your Father in Heaven :) I found some squirrel proof bird feeders for here in the UK although we do love seeing their antics but it is a fine line between fun being over run with critters!
